Description White Crystalline Powder
Dissolve 10 gm. in 2.5ml. of glacial acetic acid and sufficient hot water to produce 100 ml. The solution is clear and colourless.
Assay (as Pb) 72 - 74 %
Water insoluble matter 1.0% max.
Chloride (Cl) 0.005% max.
Iron (Fe) 0.003% max.
Loss On Drying at 105 Co 1.0 % max.
This is used in Sugar mills for the testing of sugar. Other names of this product are Lead acetate basic anhydrous, Dry Horne's lead acetate
